[Vimyridge] SD941022.11 _ Can we go now?! Pt 2 - Vilqa, Blake, Blake, Lox, Saladin, Wilkinson, Garret

Kylee arrived at that time, going over the latest data that had been
received on her PADD. She ignored the others, for the most part, wanting to
make sure they weren't going down to any surprises. She still wanted to bow
out of this and head to the asteroids, but doubted the captain would be
willing to let her go off on her own, even though she was adamant she could
find more clues there on the surface. Leaning against the wall just to the
side of the door, she made sure to stay out of everyone's way. On her back
she wore a pack containing the necessary supplies she had not given to Takis
to carry, as well as a few extra things she thought she could use.

Kat gathered the necessary equipment she'd need from sickbay before putting
on her EVA suit and heading for the shuttle bay to meet up with the rest of
the team. she paused a moment outside to gather her thoughts. she had
something to prove with this mission she pushed all thoughts of personal
issues aside. she stepped inside the shuttle bay and off to the side for a
moment to double check her equipment a phaser and medical tricorder
holstered to the utility belt on her waist. She looked up spotting  the
Counselor and walked over to join her. "Hello Counselor" she said with a
smile. she'd looked around at the rest of the team gathering giving various
members a brief nod.

Cait made her way into the shuttle bay with her gear in hand, including the
specially made EVA suit. Toby and Rose had been kissed goodbye and Jewel had
been given some attention. Now she was ready for business and headed over to
the shuttle to make sure all the equipment they would need had been loaded.

Toby followed his wife into the shuttle bay, Rose left with day care for the
moment. He wasn't going, but that didn't mean he shouldn't be there, he
looked about taking everyone and everything in.

Justin finished the preflight, and stepped out of the shuttle.  His EVA suit
was sitting on one of the crates that his engineering teems were loading
onto the shuttle.  "Shuttle MacDowell ready, all system check out."  The
Type 11 shuttle, one of the larger shuttles used on the ship, was sitting
next to a second type 11 shuttle that the engineers were just finishing the
shield and radiation hardening modifications.  He reached over to the crate,
to collect his EVA suit.

Vilqa furrowed her brow, "Anybody see Garret?" She said loudly in hopes that
someone would know the answer. The 'Ridge was in a safe location now from
the flares but the shuttle ridge would be treacherous none the less. While
waiting for her reply she spotted Toby, heads taller than a lot of the crew
and approached.

Marcus caught K'ylana's eye and shook his head before proceeding to grab
one of the E.V.A's and don it suitably. He hated these things, and guessed
everyone did. It made him feel so self conscious. He moved around like a
meandering leviathan and it was impossible to do anything with any great
precision. He felt like he was at the mercy of whatever conditions were
out there, even though in fact, it was saving him from such conditions.

Toby watched K`y approach, and gave her a brief smile as she neared.
"Captain." He said both in way of greeting and questioning.

"Commander," Vilqa said then silenced as the FCO rushed forward.

With that, Matthew strode in, rushed. He stepped up to the captain. "Sorry
i'm late, ma'am. Ready for duty"

"Mr. Garret. It's alright." Vilqa stated, "I suggest you seek Commander Lox
and discuss what servicing he has done to the shuttles and you should do any
preflight checks that you require. We will be flying heavy with medication
supplies."

Matt nodded. "Yes, ma'am" he said as he looked for Commander Lox

The part klingon then addressed Cait who was standing by Toby, "Doc ready to
be separated from your daughter?"

Toby nodded, "Yes, I think she is. At least she didn't spend a whole hour
saying good bye to Rose and reminding me and the day care how to take care
of her, just a half hour." He grinned. "I think she's looking forward to
being directly involved again."

Cait grinned at Toby. "It was actually only 15 minutes...for each and I'm
ready. Rose is almost a year old now and Momma does enjoy getting her hands
dirty."
